Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking a Tax Preparer to assist TurboTax customers with federal and state tax returns. This virtual role involves guiding customers through tax preparation, offering tax advice, and providing product support via video and audio channels.

The role requires at least 2+ years of experience, PTIN, and knowledge of Circular 230. A minimum of 20 hours per week and English/Spanish bilingual ability are advantageous. Training and performance-based incentives are included.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recent experience preparing federal and state individual 1040 tax returns for at least 30 clients per season.
• Must possess or be able to obtain related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Must possess an active PTIN.
• Working knowledge of Circular 230.
• Willing to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax advice and full service return preparation and signature.
• Handle product/software inquiries and tax calculations.
• Document customer interactions and resolve inquiries using government resources and team expertise.
• Utilize video and audio tools to create high quality customer experiences.
• Meet KPI metrics and participate in training and pilot projects as needed.
