While this position provides virtual patient companion services to the patients of CommonSpirit Health across the United States, it must be performed on-site at our Phoenix AZ Virtual Hospital located at 3033 N. 3rd Avenue.
Working as a Patient Companion is a rewarding career that helps people in need across the U.S. in a 24/7 virtual call center environment. As part of our specialized team at CommonSpirit Health's Virtual Hospital in Phoenix, AZ, this role involves monitoring high-risk patients identified for fall risk, elopement, drug/alcohol use, disorientation, or other safety concerns across 140+ hospitals in 21 states. Compassionate individuals comfortable communicating with emotionally distressed or in-pain patients are ideal. The role requires maintaining calmness under stress and responding effectively to ensure patient safety and comfort.

Required: High school diploma or equivalent with 3 years recent patient care experience or certification/education in a healthcare field.
Preferred: Current healthcare certification/license or enrollment in a healthcare program.
