Job summary

Inizio Engage is seeking a Virtual Case Manager to support patients in accessing prescribed medications. You will interact with patients, physicians, and pharmacies, guiding them through benefits verification, eligibility, and reimbursement processes to ensure timely treatment initiation.

You will operate within a patient access team, communicating effectively, maintaining confidentiality, and adapting to diverse healthcare settings while upholding program rules and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 1–2 years of industry experience with pharmaceutical or healthcare case management.
• Experience with health insurance and Rx reimbursement.
• Understand HIPAA and privacy laws and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Experience with Adverse Event and Product Quality Complaint reporting.
• Maintain compliance with program business rules, SOPs, and guidelines.
• Outstanding case management is required.
• Passionate about learning and able to share that passion with others.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a patient advocate to coordinate access to medicines for timely treatment initiation and ongoing shipments.
• Understand patient support needs to deliver a seamless, tailored patient experience.
• Provide support to patients and HCPs throughout prior authorization and appeals processes.
• Educate providers and patients on payer policies to start and stay on therapy.
• Maintain accurate information in the system to support data integrity.
