Job summary

Valeris is seeking a Case Manager to provide inbound and outbound support for payers, patients, and providers. You will coordinate patient benefits, orders, and appointments to facilitate the overall patient journey, acting as a dedicated contact with a focus on service and accuracy.

Responsibilities include informing eligibility, enrollment, affordability, and access, while maintaining documentation and collaborating with program management to resolve issues and improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree and 2 years of reimbursement/insurance, healthcare billing, or 5 years with a high school diploma.
• Call Center/HUB or customer service experience with progressive responsibility in a service-driven environment.
• Excellent communication skills; orally and in writing.
• Strong working knowledge of prior authorization and appeals.
• Medical and pharmacy insurance terminology knowledge; reimbursement experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an expert on benefit coordination for healthcare providers and patients.
• Advise on eligibility requirements, program enrollment, affordability, and access to prescribed therapy.
• Build relationships with providers and patients; coordinate resources and information.
• Explain benefits across payer types including Medicare, Medicaid, VA and DOD.
• Maintain records per SOPs and regulatory standards; support program management.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely patient support and program effectiveness.
