Job summary

Vincere is seeking a Sales Engineer to drive new business in the Virginia territory with a strong consultative sales approach. You will work independently to identify opportunities from lead generation through to close, delivering technical sales support and building long-term customer relationships.

The role requires at least three years in technical or engineered sales, with proven achievement and the ability to manage a full sales cycle.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of technical or engineered sales experience.
• Experience as a Sales Engineer, Technical Sales Engineer, Direct Sales Engineer, or similar technical sales professional.
• At least two years of consistent sales achievement.
• Demonstrable new business development experience.
• Ability to work independently and manage a sales territory.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant industry experience.
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Generate, develop and close new sales opportunities across Virginia.
• Develop new business and build long-term customer relationships.
• Deliver consultative technical sales support to customers.
• Manage opportunities throughout the complete sales process.
• Prepare sales proposals and follow up consistently with prospective customers.
• Maintain an organized sales pipeline and manage territory activity independently.
• Travel regularly throughout the Virginia territory to develop customer relationships and new opportunities.
