Job summary

Verto People Ltd is seeking a Sales Engineer to cover the Virginia territory with a focus on new business, consultative selling and closing opportunities from lead to close. The role offers a base of $80,000–$95,000 plus commission and an OTE of $150,000, with travel to build relationships and drive growth across the territory.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of technical or engineered sales experience.
• Experience as a Sales Engineer or similar technical sales role.
• At least two years of consistent sales achievement.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant industry experience.
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Generate, develop and close new sales opportunities across Virginia.
• Develop new business and build long-term customer relationships.
• Deliver consultative technical sales support to customers.
• Manage opportunities throughout the complete sales process.
• Prepare sales proposals and follow up with prospective customers.
• Maintain an organized sales pipeline and manage territory activity independently.
• Travel regularly throughout the Virginia territory to develop customer relationships and new opportunities.
