Job summary

VIP, Inc. seeks a Service Writer to join our Scarborough location. You will consult with customers about vehicle conditions, educate them on MPI results, and help deliver VIP programs and standards.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Comprehensive understanding of automotive servicing and the industry.
• One year of related experience in automotive service field.
• Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Consult with customers and educate them on vehicle condition based on MPI results.
• Engage customers to improve SAX scores.
• Support Service Manager to deliver VIP programs and standards.
• Complete LMS and vendor training and obtain required certifications.
• Coordinate work orders with technicians and manage dispatch priorities.
• Maintain facility and equipment and ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Ensure compliance with service ethics and regulations.
