Job summary

Pimacounty is seeking a technically skilled Help Desk Specialist to provide 1st line support across court locations. You will diagnose hardware/software issues, assist with VPN and remote desktop access, and support AV systems in courtroom and conference settings.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED (or an associate degree) and 2–3 years of relevant experience, with duties including logging requests in ticketing systems and ensuring proper licenses for software.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED with 3 years of tech support experience; OR an associate's degree in CS/MSIS and 2 years of tech support experience; OR equivalent combination.
Experience providing level 1 help desk support across multiple locations and VIP service.
Knowledge of VPN, remote desktop and standard office applications.

Responsibilities

Provides level 1 help desk support to all court locations.
Provides VIP service through direct support or via escalation for level 2 assistance.
Offers in-person, telephone, and remote tech support for hardware, software, and basic network issues.
Performs routine hardware/software installations and maintenance as directed.
Provides audio-visual support in courtrooms and for staff using Teams/remote participation tools.
Tracks help desk requests and maintains issue/resolution records.
