Job summary

NTT DATA, Inc. seeks a Desktop Support Technician in Wallingford, CT. Responsibilities include on-site integration of hardware, software, and networking, with occasional remote work. The role involves imaging devices, handling tickets, and coordinating with vendors to resolve Level 2 issues.

You will provide end-user support, work with cross-functional teams, and participate in small IT projects and outages maintenance. A+ certification and strong Windows knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• A+ Certification required.
• Desktop management and admin experience.
• White Glove/VIP support experience preferred.
• Proven customer service background.
• Knowledge of Windows operating environment.
• Ability to follow verbal/written technical instructions and scripts.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Physically able to lift and move enterprise hardware.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot Level 2 PC hardware, software and peripherals.
• Document service orders and follow up for reporting and satisfaction.
• Coordinate user requests with external vendors per policies.
• Resolve issues beyond first-tier help desk scope.
• Coordinate with technical personnel for services and follow-up.
• Provide end-user support and work on tickets.
• Coordinate onsite/offshore problem resolution.
• Image laptops/desktops for new users.
• Perform workstation moves within/across buildings.
• Upgrade memory/CPU/hard drives on servers.
