Job summary

NTT DATA, Inc. seeks an IT Desktop Support Technician II in Bethesda, MD to deliver deskside support for a diverse biomedical institute. The role covers Windows/Mac/Linux environments, imaging workstations, and assisting with hardware deployments and IT projects.

Responsibilities include on-site and remote troubleshooting, managing tickets, and maintaining inventory while communicating clearly with users. A Public Trust clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or higher.
• Minimum 2 years in desktop support or similar IT role.
• Minimum 2 years with Windows 10/11, desktops, and peripherals.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, and business apps.
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 and 2 support for desktops, laptops, printers, and devices.
• Diagnose hardware, software, network, and OS issues and resolve them.
• Install, image, upgrade, and maintain desktops and peripherals.
• Perform on-site and remote troubleshooting across Windows, Mac, and Linux.
• Support Microsoft 365, Adobe Suite, and common business software.
• Configure user accounts and devices per IT standards.
• Assist with onboarding/offboarding and inventory management.
