Job summary

Colonial Group in Milford, NH is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Service Manager in delivering an exceptional automotive service experience. You will lead the team in the manager's absence, uphold safety policies, and ensure efficient operations that satisfy customers.

You will develop a superior team, oversee training, coordinate with technicians, and maintain facility standards while complying with regulations.

Qualifications

• Two years related experience in automotive service management.
• Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure workplace safety is Priority #1 and all safety policies are followed.
• Consult with and educate customers about vehicle conditions based on MPI inspection results.
• Aim for better than average customer engagement as measured by SAX scores.
• Learn and execute managerial activities as assigned by the Service Manager to deliver better customer experiences.
• Develop a superior team, ensure LMS training completion, provide study material for ASE certifications, and support daily team communication.
• Manage facility and equipment maintenance, keep service area clean, and coordinate with the team for daily readiness.
• Enforce compliance with the Code of Ethics and all applicable regulations.
