Job summary

Colonial Group seeks an Assistant Manager to uphold VIP standards and supervise the service team in the Service Manager’s absence. You will educate customers on vehicle conditions, drive safety, and manage day-to-day operations to deliver superior customer experiences.

Responsibilities include leading staff, ensuring LMS and vendor trainings are completed, coordinating work orders, and maintaining a clean, compliant facility to support high performance and safe service delivery.

Qualifications

• Two years related experience in automotive service management.
• Completion of a two-year college or technical school program or equivalent.
• Current, valid driver’s license.
• ASE certifications (C1, P2, G1) recommended or required where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety as priority and enforce related policies.
• Interact with customers to explain vehicle conditions and VIP processes.
• Lead the team in the Service Manager’s absence and ensure communication remains clear.
• Coordinate work orders and vendor training; ensure proper LMS completion.
• Ensure facility, equipment, and cleanliness meet standards and regulatory requirements.
