Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking an Assistant Manager in Maine to help the Service Manager deliver a superior customer experience and high-performance results. You will lead the team, train staff, and ensure VIP processes are followed to educate customers about their vehicle conditions and possible solutions.

As second in command, you will manage safety, communications, and daily operations, coordinating with technicians and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• Two years related experience in automotive service management.
• Completion of two-year college or technical school program, or an equivalent.
• Current, valid driver’s license.
• ASE Certification C1 – Service Consultant required; P2/G1 recommended; State Inspection License where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure workplace safety is priority #1 and follow safety policies.
• Consult with customers, educate them about vehicle condition via MPI inspection.
• Achieve better than average SAX score through customer engagement.
• Learn and execute managerial activities and lead the team in the Service Manager's absence.
• Coordinate with the team and ensure LMS training and certifications are completed.
