Job summary

VIP, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager at our Lewiston location to support the Service Manager and lead a team in delivering an exceptional customer experience.

You will help implement VIP programs, ensure safety, and drive high-performance results through staff development and adherence to processes. As second in command, you will coordinate daily operations, supervise training, and communicate with management.

Qualifications

• Two years related experience in automotive service management.
• Two-year college or technical school program recommended; or equivalent experience.
• ASE Certifications (C1, P2, G1) and state inspection license or equivalents.

Responsibilities

• Ensure workplace safety is priority and enforce safety policies.
• Consult with customers, educate them on vehicle conditions per VIP processes.
• Lead team in-Service Manager's absence and uphold VIP standards.
• Coordinate training and LMS/vendor certification for associates.
• Enforce compliance with service ethics and regulations.
