Job summary

Levy at American Airlines Center is seeking a passionate, detail-oriented event-based part-time Line Cook to join our Culinary team. This role supports VIP spaces and the Bunker kitchen, delivering high-quality items with strong food safety, presentation, and teamwork.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of culinary experience in high-volume settings, knowledge of HACCP, and the flexibility to work evenings and events.

Qualifications

• High-volume kitchen experience preferred or similar setting.
• ServSafe Food Handler Certification or ability to obtain within timeframe.
• Knowledge of HACCP principles and food safety standards.
• Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality menu items according to recipes, schedules, and presentation standards.
• Use various cooking techniques and ensure consistency in portioning and flavor.
• Taste and evaluate dishes for quality before service.
• Maintain HACCP and food safety compliance at all times.
• Keep workstation clean, organized, and sanitary throughout shift.
