Levy at American Airlines Center in Dallas is seeking a passionate, skilled, and detail-oriented event-based, part-time Line Cook to join our Culinary team. This role supports VIP spaces and the Admiral kitchen, focusing on culinary excellence, consistency, and superior guest service.

The ideal candidate will prepare high-quality menu items, maintain food safety standards, and collaborate with chefs to ensure smooth operations during events.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years culinary experience in a high-volume restaurant, hotel, catering operation, stadium, arena, or entertainment venue.
• Valid ServSafe Food Handler Certification (or ability to obtain within required timeframe).
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, knife skills, cooking methods, and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality food items in accordance with recipes and standards.
• Execute grilling, sautéing, roasting, frying, baking, and finishing dishes.
• Ensure items are prepared with consistent portions and presentation.
• Taste and evaluate prepared food for quality and flavor.
• Maintain proper food temperatures and HACCP compliance.
• Keep a clean, sanitary workstation and adhere to health regulations.
