Job summary

America's First Federal Credit Union is hiring for an in-office teller role at the Downtown Birmingham Corporate Office. You will provide real-time teller assistance to members through video ITM, handling deposits, withdrawals, transfers and payments with accuracy and courtesy.

Responsibilities include end-of-day balancing, following security and regulatory requirements, and identifying opportunities to promote Credit Union products while delivering professional service on camera and in person.

Qualifications

• One year to three years of similar or related experience.
• High school education or GED.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable on camera and interacting with members via video transmission equipment.
• Able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of Credit Union products, services, policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance including Reg CC and CTR.
• Able to use multiple software applications concurrently.

Responsibilities

• Process a variety of financial transactions via ITM (deposits, payments, transfers, withdrawals).
• Ensure endorsements and identification are obtained; follow policies and procedures.
• Work with multiple software programs concurrently; communicate with more than one member.
• Provide professional, courteous service and maintain confidentiality.
• Perform end-of-day balancing; adhere to security, audit and compliance requirements.
• Promote Credit Union products to meet members' needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
