Job summary

Lennar is seeking a VP of Land Development to oversee field operations, manage land development budgets, and ensure timely delivery of residential projects from permit through community turnover. You will lead a team, coordinate with contractors and consultants, and ensure regulatory and budget compliance across phases of development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in business administration, engineering, accounting, finance or similar program.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in Land development.
• Minimum 5 years in Land development management role.
• Ability to read, understand and evaluate civil engineering/development plans.
• Ability to develop schedules, budgets and deliver within requirements.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in computer literacy (Office, scheduling, data management).

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, mentor and manage individuals and team to achieve results.
• Oversee permits to construction and community turnover.
• Manage land development budgets, environmental studies, engineering and architectural plans.
• Plan, schedule, budget and contract for site improvements and common elements.
• Negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with policies, laws, and regulations.
• Coordinate planning, permit and construction process and forecast long-term schedules and budgets.
• Ensure bond maintenance and cash flow management.
• Build relationships with developers, contractors, consultants, and authorities.
