Job summary

Lennar is seeking a VP of Land Development in California. This role oversees field operations for the land development department, aligning with company strategies and managing contracts with contractors and consultants to enable residential development.

Responsibilities include leading project delivery from permit to community turnover, budgeting, scheduling, and ensuring compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements while guiding cross-functional teams across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in business administration, engineering, accounting, finance or similar program.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in Land development.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Land development management role.
• Must be able to read, understand and evaluate civil engineering / development plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, mentor and manage individuals and team to ensure top performance.
• Oversee projects from permit approvals through construction and final certification.
• Responsible for the successful delivery of new projects through schedules, budgets and plans.
• Plan, schedule, budget and contract for land development elements.
