Lennar is seeking a VP of Forward Planning to lead land development, entitlements, and forward planning across communities. The role oversees site purchasing, development teams, and partnerships with government agencies to secure approvals and maintain schedules.

The position requires 5–7 years in home building, strong Excel and planning skills, and the ability to manage complex budgets while guiding project teams toward on-time, on-budget delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, accounting, finance or similar program.
• Minimum 5 to 7 years of related experience including home building experience.
• Advanced PC skills, including Excel.
• Must read, understand and evaluate civil engineering / development plans.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide analysis for land acquisition focusing on environmental issues, infrastructure, costs and site feasibility.
• Coordinate entitlements and negotiate with agencies to secure approvals.
• Direct forward planning, project management and budget control for community design and development.
• Oversee purchasing and site construction management and ensure contingency coverage.
• Develop and manage design documentation and disclosures for Homeowners Associations.
• Monitor compliance with maps, bond releases and project schedules.
