Job summary

LPL Financial seeks a Vice President II, AI Risk and Governance to lead the firm’s enterprise AI risk strategy, governance framework, and operating model across business, technology, and control functions.

The role serves as a senior advisor to executives, translating complex technical and regulatory risks into clear business decisions, building the AI risk function, and guiding adoption with regulatory expectations and client protection in mind.

Qualifications

• Over 12 years of progressively responsible experience across risk management, technology risk, model risk, or related control disciplines.
• At least 5 years of AI, ML, data governance, or technology governance experience.
• Experience establishing and executing multi-year strategies, operating models, risk frameworks, or enterprise governance programs.
• Experience leading in a regulated environment and supporting regulatory examinations or audits.

Responsibilities

• Establish and execute the firm’s multi-year AI risk and governance strategy across business, technology, and control functions.
• Lead an enterprise function spanning AI governance, models and monitoring, model risk management, control testing, and governance programs.
• Advise executive leadership and shape firm-wide decisions regarding AI risk, adoption, deployment readiness, investment, and risk acceptance.
• Lead executive-level AI risk and governance forums and ensure accountability for actions.
