Job summary

LPL Financial LLC is seeking an Assistant Vice President, AI Governance to lead the day-to-day execution and administration of the firm’s AI Governance Program. This role coordinates AI use case intake, risk assessments, policy management, and committee governance across Technology, Information Security, Data Governance, Privacy, Compliance, Legal, and Internal Audit.

The ideal candidate brings 5–8+ years in governance or risk within financial services, plus enterprise AI governance experience

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Business, Information Technology, Data, Law, Compliance, Public Policy, or a related discipline.
5-8+ years of governance, risk management, compliance, technology governance, data governance, program management, or related discipline in financial services or regulated industries.
Recent experience within an enterprise AI Governance program.

Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day execution of the enterprise AI Governance Program and support strategy, operating model, priorities, and capability roadmap.
Own and administer end-to-end AI use case intake, triage, review, approval, change, monitoring, and retirement workflow.
Coordinate AI risk assessments and manage the AI use case inventory, including data quality, ownership, status, and lifecycle information.
Manage AI governance committees, policy management, and escalation tracking; publish guidance and track implementation.
