Job summary

Mars is seeking a Veterinary District Sales Manager to drive the Vet BU strategy across the Houston North/The Woodlands territory. You will translate clinic data into opportunities, develop territory plans, and build relationships with clinic decision-makers to grow our veterinary network.

The role requires 2+ years in sales (preferably B2B), veterinary clinic experience, and strong communication and presentation skills. Travel 20–30% and a valid driver’s license are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2+ years sales experience, preferably B2B.
• Veterinary clinic experience preferred.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral and written).
• Possession of a driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Overnight travel required, occasional weekends; ~20–30% travel.

Responsibilities

• Translate knowledge of products, categories, customer data into business opportunities.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan; grow clinics within territory.
• Establish and grow relationships with clinic decision-makers.
• Develop and deliver data-driven presentations for Veterinary staff.
• Collaborate across BU and org with Account teams, Digital Sales, Inside Accounts, and Scientific Affairs.
• Build partnerships; work with others to meet objectives.
• Execute the Veterinary Business Unit sales strategy.
• Work in cross-functional, fluid environments and adapt strategies as needed.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews with Line Manager and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Manage expense and sales budget; complete CRM and expense reports timely.
