Job summary

Mars is seeking a Veterinary District Sales Manager for the Royal Canin brand. This field-based role requires living within the territory and entails identifying clinic opportunities, building relationships with decision-makers, and delivering data-driven presentations to drive veterinary clinic growth.

The role involves cross-functional collaboration, budget management, and regular travel (approximately 20-30%). A Bachelor’s degree is preferred and 2+ years of sales experience is desired.

Qualifications

• 2+ years sales experience, preferably B2B.
• Veterinary clinic experience preferred.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral and written).
• Possession of a driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Overnight travel required, occasional weekends; ~20-30% travel.

Responsibilities

• Translate knowledge of products, categories, customers and data into business opportunities.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan to grow clinics in the geography.
• Establish and grow relationships with clinic decision-makers.
• Deliver data-driven presentations to address veterinary staff needs.
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet objectives and manage territory.
• Execute the Vet BU sales strategy and participate in cross-functional initiatives.
• Complete CRM calls, expense reports and presentations timely and accurately.
