Job summary

Mars, Incorporated and its Affiliates seeks a Veterinary District Sales Manager - Royal Canin in Austin South. You will drive Vet BU strategy, achieve clinic-focused sales goals, and grow clinic access within your territory.

This field-based role requires about 20-30% travel, excellent communication, and the ability to translate data into opportunities. A Bachelor's degree is preferred and a valid driver’s license is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree Preferred.
• 2+ years sales experience, preferably B2B.
• Veterinary clinic experience preferred.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral and written).
• Possession of a driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Overnight travel required, occasional weekends; approx. 20-30% travel.

Responsibilities

• Translate product, category, customer and clinic data into business opportunities.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan to grow clinics.
• Establish and grow relationships with clinic decision-makers.
• Deliver data-driven presentations addressing Veterinary staff needs.
• Collaborate with Account teams, Digital Sales, Inside Accounts and Scientific Affairs.
• Build partnerships to meet shared objectives and maximize territory performance.
• Execute Veterinary BU sales strategy in a cross-functional team setting.
• Adapt strategies and investments based on quarterly reviews with the Line Manager.
• Manage expenses and sales budget; complete CRM and expense reports promptly.
