Job summary

Mars Incorporated in Fayetteville, NC is seeking a Veterinary District Sales Manager for the Royal Canin portfolio. This field-based role requires living within the territory and traveling up to 20–30% to clinics, hospitals, and conferences. It is an individual contributor role.

You will translate veterinary data into business opportunities, build relationships with clinic decision-makers, and deliver compelling, data-driven presentations while executing the Veterinary BU sales strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 2+ years sales experience, preferably B2B
• Veterinary clinic experience preferred
• Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral and written)
• Possession of a driver's license and a clean driving record
• Overnight travel required, occasional weekends; approximately 20-30%+ travel

Responsibilities

• Translate knowledge of our products, categories, customer, and clinic data into business opportunities
• Develop and execute a territory business plan by understanding clinic operational needs and grow clinics within geography
• Establish and grow relationships with clinic decision-makers
• Develop and deliver data-driven presentations to address veterinary staff needs
• Collaborate with Account teams, Digital Sales, Inside Accounts and Scientific Affairs to meet objectives
• Manage budget and reporting: expenses, CRM calls, and presentations
