Job summary

Mars Incorporated, owner of Royal Canin, is seeking a Veterinary District Sales Manager for the Philadelphia, PA area. The role is field-based and requires residing within the territory to drive clinic opportunities and veterinary recommendations through data-driven sales strategies.

The candidate should have 2+ years of sales experience (B2B preferred), veterinary clinic exposure, excellent communication skills, and a valid driver's license with 20–30% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2+ years sales experience, preferably B2B.
• Veterinary clinic experience preferred.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral and written).
• Possession of a driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Overnight travel required, approx. 20-30% travel.

Responsibilities

• Translate knowledge of products, categories, customers, and data into business opportunities.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan to grow clinics within the geography.
• Establish and grow relationships with clinic decision-makers.
• Develop and deliver data-driven presentations to address Veterinary staff needs.
• Collaborate with BU and corporate teams to meet stakeholders' needs.
• Execute the Veterinary Business Unit sales strategy across the territory.
• Manage budgets and CRM reporting; complete expense reports and presentations timely.
