Job summary

Mars Incorporated's Royal Canin division is seeking a Veterinary District Sales Manager to drive execution of BU strategy across North Oklahoma City and Wichita. This field-based role requires living within the territory and delivering clinic-focused sales growth.

You will translate product knowledge into opportunities, build relationships with clinic decision-makers, and present data-driven insights. Occasional overnight travel and weekends are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2+ years sales experience, preferably B2B.
• Veterinary clinic experience preferred.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills.
• Possession of a driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Overnight travel required, occasional weekends; approximately 20-30%+ travel.

Responsibilities

• Translate knowledge of our products, categories, customer, and clinic data into business opportunities.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan by understanding clinic operational needs.
• Establish and grow relationships with clinic decision-makers within assigned geography.
• Develop and deliver compelling, data-driven presentations to address the needs of veterinary staff.
• Collaborate with key stakeholder groups across the BU and organization.
• Build partnerships and work collaboratively to meet shared objectives.
• Execute the Veterinary Business Unit sales strategy effectively.
• Work in a cross-functional team environment; adapt to changing priorities.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews and adjust strategies as needed.
• Budget and reporting: Manage expenses and CRM call/expense reports and presentations timely.
