Job summary

Mars, Incorporated (Royal Canin) seeks a Veterinary District Sales Manager in the Philadelphia area. This field-based role requires living within the territory, a driver’s license, and strong communication skills to drive clinic partnerships and sales.

Travel will be 20-30%+ with occasional weekends for conferences; a Bachelor's degree is preferred and 2+ years of sales experience (VET clinic exposure is a plus). This role includes a company vehicle and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years sales experience, preferably B2B.
• Veterinary clinic experience preferred.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral and written).
• Possession of a driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Overnight travel required, occasional weekends for conferences; approximately 20-30%+ travel.

Responsibilities

• Translate knowledge of products, categories, customer, and clinic data into business opportunities.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan by understanding clinic operational needs.
• Establish and grow relationships with clinic decision-makers within assigned geography.
• Develop and deliver data-driven presentations to address Veterinary staff needs.
• Collaborate with BU and organization stakeholders to meet objectives.
• Execute the Veterinary Business Unit sales strategy.
• Work in a cross-functional team-based environment and adapt to change.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews and adjust strategies to maximize territory performance.
• Manage expenses and sales budgets and complete CRM and expense reports accurately.
