Job summary

Mars Veterinary District Sales Manager - Royal Canin is a field-based role that requires living within the territory. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of sales experience (preferably B2B) and veterinary clinic exposure.

You will drive the Vet BU strategy, translate clinic data into opportunities, and build strong relationships with clinic decision-makers across the geography. Overnight travel (~20-30%) and weekends for conferences are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years sales experience, preferably B2B.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral and written).
• Possession of a driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Overnight travel required, occasional weekends for conferences; approximately 20-30%+ travel.

Responsibilities

• Translate knowledge of products, categories, customer, and clinic data into business opportunities.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan by understanding clinic operational needs.
• Establish and grow relationships with clinic decision-makers within assigned geography.
• Develop and deliver data-driven presentations to address the needs of Veterinary staff.
• Build partnerships with stakeholders across the BU & organization to meet objectives.
• Execute the Veterinary Business Unit sales strategy.
• Collaborate in cross-functional teams in fluid, changing environments.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews with Line Manager and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Budget and reporting: manage expenses and sales budget; complete CRM/expense reports and presentations.
