Job summary

Mars is seeking a Veterinary District Sales Manager for the Royal Canin brand, based in the Philadelphia, PA area. The role is field-based and requires residing within the territory.

You will execute the Vet BU strategy, identify clinic opportunities, and leverage data to drive sales; work cross-functionally to expand clinic access and vet recommendations. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of B2B sales experience, veterinary clinic exposure, strong communication, and a valid driver's license;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant sales or veterinary field favored.
• 2+ years of sales experience, preferably B2B.
• Experience with veterinary clinics preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must hold a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Overnight travel required; 20-30% travel.

Responsibilities

• Translate product, category, and clinic data into business opportunities.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan to grow clinics.
• Establish and grow relationships with clinic decision-makers.
• Deliver data-driven presentations to veterinary staff.
• Collaborate across Account, Digital Sales, Inside Accounts, and Scientific Affairs.
• Partner with others to meet shared objectives and execute BU sales strategy.
• Work in cross-functional teams in fluid environments.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews and adjust strategies.
• Manage expense and sales budget; complete CRM and expense reports.
