Job summary

Mars is seeking a Veterinary District Sales Manager for the Royal Canin portfolio in the Fayetteville, NC region and surrounding areas. This field-based role requires you to reside within the territory and manage clinic opportunities, using sales data to drive growth.

You will translate product knowledge into business opportunities, develop territory plans, and build relationships with clinic decision-makers.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
2+ years sales experience, preferably B2B Veterinary clinic experience.
Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral and written).
Possession of a driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Overnight travel required, occasional weekends; approximately 20-30%+ travel.

Responsibilities

Translate knowledge of products, categories, customer, and clinic data into business opportunities.
Develop and execute a territory business plan by understanding clinic operational needs.
Establish and grow relationships with clinic decision-makers within assigned geography.
Develop and deliver data-driven presentations to address Veterinary staff needs.
Build partnerships across internal stakeholders to meet objectives.
Execute the Veterinary Business Unit sales strategy in a cross-functional environment.
Complete CRM and expense reports in a timely manner.
