Acoaxet Veterinary Clinic in Westport, MA is seeking a friendly, organized Veterinary Receptionist to join our busy general practice. You will be the first point of contact for clients and pets, helping the hospital run smoothly each day.

Responsibilities include greeting clients, scheduling, answering calls, processing payments, and updating records in our practice management system. A minimum of 12 months in a veterinary setting and strong communication are required; veterinary software

Qualifications

Minimum 12 months of experience in a veterinary practice.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with veterinary software is preferred, but training can be provided.

Responsibilities

Welcoming clients and pets with exceptional customer service.
Scheduling appointments and managing the daily appointment flow.
Answering phone calls, emails, and client inquiries.
Checking patients in and out for appointments.
Processing payments and maintaining accurate records.
Entering and updating client and patient information in our practice management system.
Keeping the reception area clean, organized, and welcoming.
Assisting with administrative tasks and supporting the veterinary team as needed.
Escalating complex client concerns to management when appropriate.
