Job summary

Small Door in Massachusetts seeks a Practice Manager to lead a high‑performing team and deliver exceptional hospitality and veterinary care. You will oversee daily operations, payroll, scheduling, budgets, and patient flow, partnering with clinical leadership to drive profitability.

The role requires 4+ years in veterinary or healthcare, 2+ years managing a team, and comfort with Excel and Google Suite. You’ll collaborate with HQ and regional leadership on initiatives, support hiring,

Qualifications

4+ years in veterinary or human healthcare, with leadership experience.
2+ years directly managing a team and driving performance.
Experience in hospitality or fast-paced startup is a plus.
Strong business sense and ability to read P&L data.
Proficient with Excel and Google Suite for reporting.

Responsibilities

Lead a high‑performing practice team, ensuring quality hospitality and care.
Oversee payroll, scheduling, budgeting, and inventory management.
Collaborate with clinical leadership to meet revenue targets and KPI dashboards.
Own onboarding, coaching, and staff development across the team.
Partner with HQ and regional leadership on initiatives and process improvements.
