Small Door Veterinary is hiring for a Practice Manager who will lead a single location with a focus on hospitality and clinical excellence. You will collaborate with medical leadership, manage payroll, and oversee onboarding while ensuring brand standards and operational efficiency across the clinic.

Ideal candidates bring 4+ years in veterinary or healthcare settings, with 2+ years of direct team management, plus strong data-driven business sense.

Qualifications

• 4+ years working in a veterinary or human healthcare practice and at least 2 years experience directly managing a team.
• Experience in a hospitality role and/or fast-paced startup is a plus but not required.
• Strong business acumen and using data to achieve valuable insights; experience reading, understanding, and managing P&Ls is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-performing practice team providing exceptional hospitality and care.
• Run bi-weekly payroll, and time and attendance for practice employees.
• Oversee onboarding of new employees and maintain brand standards across facilities.
• Manage P&L and revenue by type with regional leadership support to grow top line.
• oversee appointment schedules, surgeries and bookings to maximize utilization of doctors and nurses.
