Small Door Inc. is reshaping veterinary care with a hospitality-driven model and rapid growth across the Northeast. We seek a skilled Practice Manager to lead a busy clinic, develop the team, manage payroll, and partner with clinical leadership to deliver outstanding member experiences.

In this full-time role, you will own hiring, onboarding, budgeting, KPIs, and scheduling, while maintaining brand standards and a culture of safety, inclusivity, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 4+ years working in veterinary or human healthcare with 2+ years direct people management.
• Experience in hospitality or fast-paced startups is a plus.
• Strong business acumen and data-driven decision making.
• Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets and basic tech tools.
• Autonomous, highly organized, and customer-service oriented.

Responsabilités

• Lead a high-performing practice team and foster a positive culture.
• Coordinate Practice Team meetings and cascade updates with leadership.
• Oversee safety, compliance, and inclusivity within the practice.
• Manage bi-weekly payroll and time/attendance for staff.
• Handle escalations with members and involve regional leadership as needed.
• Maintain brand standards, 360° practice view, and backfill planning.
• Partner with recruiting to hire and onboard new staff.
• Oversee budgeting, inventory, and KPI dashboards to drive profitability.
• Optimize clinic scheduling, surgeries, and specialist bookings.
• Drive quarterly team events and engagement initiatives.
