Mission Valley Pet Clinic, part of AmeriVet, is a well-established veterinary hospital in San Diego seeking a dedicated Practice Manager to lead daily operations, staff, and financial performance.

You will oversee budgeting, HR, client relations, and compliance, while partnering with veterinarians to deliver high-quality care and an outstanding client experience in a fast-paced, community-focused setting.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in a managerial role, preferably in a veterinary practice or healthcare setting.
• CVPM, CVBL and/or a bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration are preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated experience in P&L management and financial analysis is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Staff management: supervise and lead all practice staff, recruit, onboard, train, and manage performance.
• Financial management: budgeting, billing, expenses, and financial reporting.
• Client relations: build strong client connections and ensure exceptional service.
• Operations management: oversee daily activities, inventory, scheduling, and equipment maintenance.
• Marketing, business development, and community relations: execute strategies to attract and retain clients.
