Job summary

The Pet Hospital of La Mesa is seeking a Practice Manager to lead a veterinary team, optimize operations, and drive growth. You will oversee staff, budgets, client service, and compliance while partnering with veterinarians to deliver high-quality care.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years in a managerial role in healthcare, with experience in P&L and staff development. This is a full-time role with opportunities to impact the hospital's success and community presence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years in a managerial role, preferably in veterinary or healthcare.
• Experience with P&L and financial analysis preferred.
• CVPM / CVBL or healthcare admin degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead all practice staff, including technicians and receptionists.
• Oversee budgeting, billing, expense management, and accounts receivable.
• Build exceptional client service experiences and resolve inquiries promptly.
• Manage daily operations: inventory, scheduling, supplies, and equipment.
• Execute marketing strategies and expand community presence.
