Job summary

Gentle Care Pet Clinic, operated by AmeriVet, seeks a Practice Manager to oversee daily clinic operations, staff, budgeting, and client services. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, optimize staff schedules, and drive growth through marketing and community outreach.

The role requires 3–5 years in a managerial veterinary/healthcare setting, with P&L experience and preferably CVPM/CVBL or a healthcare degree. This full-time position offers growth, benefits, and a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5 years of managerial experience in a veterinary practice or healthcare setting.
• CVPM, CVBL and/or a bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated experience in P&L management and financial analysis preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead all practice staff, including veterinarians, technicians, receptionists and support personnel.
• Recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management.
• Develop and optimize staff schedules within labor cost budgets.
• Oversee budgeting, billing, expenses, accounts receivable, and collections.
• Lead client relations and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Ensure smooth daily operations: inventory, scheduling, supplies, and equipment maintenance.
• Drive marketing, community outreach, and growth initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with veterinary regulations, OSHA, and safety policies.
