Job summary

AmeriVet seeks an experienced Practice Manager to lead hospital operations in a fast-paced setting. You will supervise veterinary technicians, receptionists, and staff while directing budgets, billing, and compliance programs to support growth and top-tier patient care.

You will partner with regional leadership to optimize schedules, improve client experiences, and expand market presence through marketing and community outreach while maintaining a collaborative, people-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5 years of managerial experience, preferably in a veterinary practice or healthcare setting.
• CVPM, CVBL and/or a bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or related field is preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated experience in P&L management and financial analysis is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Staff Management: supervise and lead all practice staff, recruit, onboard, train, and manage performance.
• Financial Management: oversee budgeting, billing, expenses, and accounts receivable.
• Client Relations: build strong client relationships and ensure exceptional service.
• Operations Management: manage inventory, scheduling, office supplies, and equipment.
• Marketing & Community Relations: execute marketing strategies and expand community presence.
• Compliance & Regulatory Adherence: ensure OSHA, regulatory compliance and data accuracy.
• Technology & Software Management: train staff and coordinate with IT on system needs.
