Job summary

VEG seeks a Nursing Trainer to grow people and programs in veterinary emergency medicine. You will lead with curiosity, coach with compassion, and shape development across the hospital, from 1:1 mentoring to peer-led sessions and educational tools.

You’ll tailor content to diverse learning styles, celebrate milestones, and build a culture where VEGgies thrive. You’ll travel regionally to onboard new veterinarians as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• AVMA-accredited veterinary technology program strongly preferred.
• Credentialed veterinary technician in the applicable state preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify training needs for individuals and teams.
• Observe assistants and technicians for credentialing readiness.
• Develop and refine training content, including presentations and videos.
• Balance hands-on mentoring with strategic program development.
• Collaborate with nursing managers to broaden impact.
