Job summary

VEG ER for Pets is seeking a Nursing Trainer to lead education across our emergency hospitals. You will coach with compassion, tailor training to all learning styles, and build confidence and momentum in emergency medicine across VEG facilities.

You will work on-the-floor and in strategic development, creating tools and programs that elevate nursing teams. A passion for teaching, strong communication, and travel to VEG hospitals in the region are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; AVMA-accredited degree preferred.
• Credentialed veterinary technician in the state VEG practice is required; VTS in ECC/ANAS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead with curiosity and coach with compassion to develop teams.
• Identify training needs with leadership and tailor programs hospital-wide.
• Develop and refine training content (presentations, videos, simulations, assessments).
• Split time between on-the-floor mentoring and strategic development.
• Cultivate mentoring culture and organize peer training opportunities.
