Job summary

VEG seeks a Nursing Trainer to lead and grow the emergency medicine training program across VEG hospitals. You will coach staff on the floor, develop educational tools, and tailor content to diverse learning styles, with a focus on building confidence and careers in emergency care.

You will collaborate with nursing managers and leadership, travel regionally for onboarding, and shape curriculum to meet VEG's standards while supporting VEGgies on their developmental journey.

Qualifications

• Emergency medicine knowledge required.
• Direct training experience preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration with teams.
• Willingness to travel to VEG hospitals regionally for onboarding.
• Ownership mindset with team growth and development.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leadership to identify training needs.
• Assess assistants and technicians through observation and immersion.
• Lead VEG's Cultivate program and training initiatives.
• Serve as the go-to training lead at each hospital.
• Split time between on-floor mentoring and strategic development.
• Provide tailored, hands-on training for all learning styles.
• Organize peer training opportunities and mentoring culture.
• Collaborate with nursing managers to broaden impact.
• Develop and refine training content (presentations, videos, simulations).
• Ensure training aligns with VEG culture and emergency standards.
• Evaluate and improve leveling programs for staff.
