Job summary

IDEXX is hiring for Inside Sales Representatives in North America. The role focuses on consultative, discovery-based conversations with veterinary clinics to recommend IDEXX solutions.

You will handle inbound inquiries, process orders, and support demand generation while delivering excellent customer experiences. The position emphasizes relationship building, strong communication, and the ability to articulate technical information.

Qualifications

• Sales, customer service and/or customer facing experience.
• Prior phone experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication; strong interpersonal skills.
• Capability to absorb and articulate technical information.
• Highly motivated and goal-oriented, while working collaboratively for team success.
• Strong organizational skills, especially in a multi-tasking environment.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Computer proficiency (Windows, Excel, Word and Outlook).
• Understanding of the veterinary diagnostic market; healthcare or scientific industry a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or scientific discipline a plus.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill customer orders for diagnostic products and supplies via phone, fax, & email.
• Establish credibility among domestic veterinary customers and use discovery to recommend products and services.
• Answer questions regarding ordering, shipping inquiries and IDEXX online platforms.
• Use Salesforce.com to maintain accurate customer profiles and interactions.
• Provide an outstanding customer experience.
• Be in a phone queue receiving inbound calls and emails; attend trainings and coaching sessions.
