Job summary

IDEXX Laboratories, Inc. is hiring Inside Sales Representatives to support veterinary clinics via inbound calls and emails about instrument consumables and services. You’ll focus on discovery, tailor IDEXX solutions, and deliver an exceptional customer experience in a fast-paced environment.

Training starts November 16, 2026. This remote, phone-based role offers an 8.5‑hour shift window (EST), hourly pay of $21 plus shift differential, annual bonus eligibility, and comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Sales, customer service and/or customer facing experience.
• Prior phone experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills including written and verbal; strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport quickly.
• Capability to absorb and articulate technical information.
• Highly motivated and goal-oriented, while working collaboratively for team success.
• Strong organizational skills, especially in a multi-tasking environment.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Understanding of the veterinary diagnostic market and experience in healthcare or scientific industry is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in a business or scientific discipline is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill customer orders for diagnostic products and supplies through multiple channels including phone, fax, & email.
• Establish credibility among our domestic veterinary customers and use discovery to make recommendations for additional products and services.
• Answer questions regarding ordering, shipping inquiries and IDEXX online platforms.
• Use Salesforce.com to maintain accurate customer profiles and interactions.
• Provide an outstanding customer experience.
• Be part of a phone queue receiving inbound calls and emails; attend trainings, coaching sessions and development time.
