Job summary

Value Vet Urbandale seeks a dynamic Hospital Manager to lead our on-site team and ensure profitable, patient-centered operations. You will work closely with the Managing Veterinarian to drive revenue, control costs, and foster a culture focused on exceptional client service.

Regular on-site attendance is a core requirement as you oversee scheduling, labor costs, and hospital initiatives. This is a pivotal role for a growth-minded leader within a multi-million-dollar business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years in a managerial role with customer service experience.
• Experience in hospital, retail, or service-based settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own hospital P&L and drive performance.
• Collaborate with regional leadership on trends and forecasting.
• Oversee accounts receivable and labor costs.
• Manage hospital inventory and costs; payroll responsibilities.
• Plan schedules and optimize staffing levels.
• Lead process improvements and best practices across teams.
• Drive technology adoption to improve efficiency.
• Maintain licensures for all DVMs and uphold client service standards.
