Job summary

National Veterinary Associates is seeking a dynamic Hospital Manager in Urbandale, IA to lead a growing veterinary hospital. You will partner with the Managing Veterinarian to drive revenue, control costs, and deliver outstanding patient care and client service in a hands-on, on-site role.

This position requires P&L ownership, staff leadership, and a focus on efficient operations, scheduling, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years in a managerial role, including customer service.
• Experience in a hospital, retail, or service setting a plus.
• Annual Base Salary (DOE) paid biweekly; Annual Bonus Opportunity paid quarterly.

Responsibilities

• Own hospital P&L and overall performance.
• Collaborate with regional leadership to forecast needs.
• Manage accounts receivable and payroll.
• Oversee inventory and labor cost control.
• Drive client service excellence and process improvements.
• Implement new technologies to improve efficiency.
• Maintain licensure for all DVMs and ensure compliance.
