Job summary

GoodVets is seeking a Hospital Operations Manager to serve as the operational heartbeat of the hospital. You will oversee day-to-day operations, staffing, inventory, compliance, and reporting to ensure top-tier veterinary care and client experiences.

You will lead a team to meet performance targets, hire and train staff, and prepare monthly performance and margin reports while maintaining a culture that attracts talent and delivers excellent patient care.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience in hospital/clinic operations management or similar role.
• 3+ years in veterinary medicine or related field with progressive responsibilities.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Proficient with practice management systems and MS Excel.
• Basic accounting and cost-control skills.
• Ability to implement SOPs and hospital protocols to maximize productivity.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily hospital operations and ensure standards are met.
• Create and maintain accurate staff schedules and staffing levels.
• Hire, train and onboard new team members, driving performance and culture.
• Prepare monthly performance, staffing, margin, and trend reports.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching for growth.
• Monitor inventory, ordering, and cost control measures.
• Support doctors, staff, and clients with clarity and professionalism.
