The position is full-time and salaried, requiring schedule flexibility. Compensation ranges from $85,000 to $95,000 USD with bonus opportunities and comprehensive benefits to support a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• RVT preferred, or experienced Veterinary Assistant with leadership experience.
• 3+ years of veterinary leadership experience, including supervision, scheduling, and performance management.
• Strong understanding of veterinary hospital operations and clinical workflows.
• Ability to recruit, hire, onboarding, and employee development.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Financial acumen, including budgeting, payroll, or hospital performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a resource for the medical team, assist with patient care and treatment workflows as needed, support training and development of clinical staff, and help maintain high standards of medical care throughout the hospital.
• Monitor hospital performance, manage budgets, oversee payroll and financial operations, and drive business growth through data-informed decisions.
• Oversee scheduling, staffing, and human resources processes; develop and implement hospital policies and procedures.
• Ensure efficient workflow, maintain regulatory compliance (OSHA, DEA, VMB), manage equipment and inventory, and coordinate facility upkeep.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop long-term goals, expand services, and support referral and partnerships.
• Lead day-to-day operations and facility management, including scheduling and maintenance; align administrative tasks with hospital objectives.
• Oversee client communications, marketing strategies, and customer experience to foster retention and growth.
• Manage hospital team members across departments, partner with veterinarians and leaders to ensure accountability and strong communications; supervise hiring and development.
