Job summary

Hunter Animal Hospital is seeking a results-driven Hospital Manager to lead our expanding team on-site. You’ll collaborate with the Managing Veterinarian to drive revenue, manage costs, and foster a culture of exceptional patient care and client service.

This role requires hands-on leadership and regular face-to-face interaction with clients and staff. You’ll own the hospital’s operations strategy, develop schedules, oversee payroll and inventory, and champion best practices to optimize

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in a managerial role with customer service experience.
• Experience in hospital, retail, or service-based settings with increasing responsibility is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete ownership of P&L, accountable for hospital performance.
• Collaborate with regional leadership to forecast needs and trends.
• Manage accounts receivable and oversee inventory and costs.
• Oversee payroll, scheduling, and labor costs.
• Champion best practices and lead process improvements.
• Lead the team to enhance client service and operations.
• Implement new technologies and initiatives to boost efficiency.
• Maintain licensure for all DVMs and uphold professional standards.
